The Beyond Medals Park Pants 2L in Pink are built around a very baggy silhouette and a straightforward approach to snowboard clothing. There is room through the legs for crouching, moving across the board and wearing a base layer underneath. The deliberately generous shape is part of the design, so these make sense when you want freedom of movement and a loose fit without choosing an insulated trouser. They work as the weather-protective outer part of a layering system that you can adapt throughout the winter.
The two-layer recycled polyester outer has a waterproof rating of 15,000 mm. Fully taped seams address the stitched areas where water could otherwise enter, while a PFC-free DWR finish encourages droplets to bead at the surface. Those are complementary details rather than interchangeable claims. Keep the outer fabric clean and watch how it sheds water over time; a saturated face fabric can feel colder and less comfortable even when the waterproof layer is doing its job.
These pants are fully lined, without padding. That distinction matters when choosing your layers: the lining makes the inside more comfortable, but it is not a substitute for additional insulation on a cold chairlift. On milder days, a lighter layer underneath may be enough for your needs; colder conditions can call for more warmth. There is no universal temperature rating here.
