Based on the classic Stanley No. 102 design, this small low angle block plane is remade by Lie-Nielsen Toolworks on the Maine coast, an hour north of our campus. It is the plane that lives within arm’s reach: one-handed trimming, end grain, chamfers, and the dozen small fits a day that make work crisp.
