ARTEX 8603 combines 121.5, 243 and 406 MHz in a white, glass-reinforced rod antenna for single-coax ELT installations. The moulded radome, vertical polarization and omnidirectional pattern are documented for fixed-wing use up to 200 knots.
The antenna uses one female BNC connector and nominal 50-ohm impedance. Confirm the exact antenna, ground plane, coax and installation limitations in the applicable ELT manual and approved aircraft data.
