McFarlane Aviation MC73965-015 is a new FAA-PMA alternator V-belt for the engine alternator drive of Piper PA-28 and PA-32RT aircraft. It replaces P/N 73965-015, 73965-15, 10069-806, 452-541 and 564-852. McFarlane’s eligibility chart 6645 lists the PA-28-151, PA-28-161, PA-28-181, PA-28-236, PA-28R-201, PA-28R-201T, PA-28RT-201, PA-28RT-201T, PA-32RT-300 and PA-32RT-300T, several of them for defined serial-number ranges only, with one belt per aircraft.
McFarlane destroys one belt from every production lot to check stretch and strength. Installation follows the aircraft maintenance data and ends with a Certificate of Release to Service. Fit depends on the aircraft model and serial number.
