BendixKing AA2012V, P/N 071-01549-0200, is a 12 in diameter, vertically polarized flat-plate antenna for the ART 2000 and ART 2100 receiver-transmitters of the RDR 2000 and RDR 2100 weather radars. It is a slotted aluminum alloy array that mounts on the microwave assembly of the receiver-transmitter and moves with it as the radar scans. The RDR 2100 installation manual lists the AA2012V in the preferred system configuration; the 10 in AA2010V is the smaller alternative.
The antenna is offered new or serviceable/overhauled; the release document is stated in the quote. The receiver-transmitter and the configuration module are separate items. In a certified aircraft the radar is installed to approved data and the work ends with a release to service. Fit depends on the P/N and the aircraft type.
